Nature of Treatments In This Clinic

I combine different styles of acupuncture in my practice, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kiiko Matsumoto’s approach, Master Tung, Richard Tan and Yin Bagua’s Styles, which I tailor to each of my patients. Did you know that the needles in acupuncture are used as an extension of the practitioner’s hand? This means that your practitioner is the actual tool for your acupuncture treatment. Therefore, your treatment’s success highly depends on the composure, knowledge, experience and attunement of the practitioner. It is vital for your practitioner to be fully present and grounded to be able to observe, recognize and feel in order to understand the pattern of your disharmony and communicate with your body using needles and touch. I spent years refining my touch, needling techniques, developing my listening and observation skills, learning from experienced professionals and applying my knowledge and techniques in clinical practice.

Relaxing massage is also very special at my clinic. I am trained and experienced as a transformational touch therapist, which means I am able to deliver the most exquisite and meaningful experience for you. This transformational massage technique was developed by psychotherapist and massage therapist Gerry Pyves and is excellent at unwinding your nervous system, clearing your mind, soothing, restoring and pampering yourself.

Chinese Herbal prescriptions are fulfilled using real raw herbs from a reliable RCHM approved supplier (Phoenix Medical Ltd.), which are sourced ethically without pesticides or animal products.

Further information about each of these treatments can be found in links at the bottom of this page.

My focus is to advise and assist you in looking after your body as the precious thing it is, and review your order of priorities and personal boundaries in relation to work and people.  A body that is out of balance is craving attention and often becomes unwell because of this. We tend to be more than happy to solve other people’s problems in our day-to-day lives but this habitual detraction from ourselves results in a constant neglect for our own lives. We unconsciously deplete our bodies throughout the day by eating on the go, spending hours in front of a computer or phone and depriving ourselves of rest, all of which lead to us not enjoying our precious lives. By undergoing reviews and treatments with me, you will have a newfound awareness and regain power over your life and I will ensure you get a pleasant and meaningful experience every time you come.
